Hey there,

I just wanted to post a quick note that I should be uploading a few videos this weekend. I've been really swamped with the requests but am finally making some progress.

Thank you to everyone who has submitted video requests and feel free to keep them coming...just bare with my slow progress!

I'll post here once I have more videos added.

Jun 24, 2007, New Video Player Update Complete

Alright! After pulling an "all-nighter" I was able to get a decent Flash player working, replacing the Microsoft Media Player used before. This new format entails smaller file sizes, allowing the videos to load faster and playback smoother.

As mentioned in my last post, I'll begin the narrations for all videos over the next week as well as work out any kinks in the new player. If you have any issues, please shoot me an email and I'll get right on it! Thanks!

Jun 24, 2007, Site Update Under Way

Hey everyone!

Tonight I've decided to undergo the long overdue task of updating the video player used here on Origami-Videos.com.

In the past, I've used the standard Microsoft Media Player, but will now be replacing it with a Flash player. Because of the nature of the new format, all videos should stream faster and play more consistently.

Please bare with me as I update each page. If you find that a particular video doesn't play for you, check back later in the weekend as all should be finished by then.

I will also begin the narrations for each video in the coming week as I believe it is evident from the poll on the homepage that voice narration would help with the learning process. Thanks to everyone who has voted!

I'll post here once the video player updates are finished.
